I stumbled upon Little Cloud academy by a friends recommendation and my husband and I could not be more thrilled with our experience. We wanted a social setting for our daughter to play and thrive in an environment outside of our home. What we did not know is just how much she would learn! We have went to other pre schools before with our eldest, and while they were great, they were more of a day care situation. Our daughter did half of a year for pre school at Little Cloud and learned what our older daughter did in Kindergarten! I truly feel that our daughter has been given such a beautiful foundation in her early years of education that she is going to be so confident in her studies once she outgrows Little Cloud. We have decided to enroll her in Kindergarten as the smaller classrooms (up to 6 kids) really allow for focused attention. Mrs. Tracy is beyond organized, dedicated, and extremely creative. Our daughter absolutely loves Mrs. Tracy, her classroom, and all that she is learning in such a fun atmosphere. My husband and I truly could not recommend her classroom enough. If you have the opportunity to get a spot in her classroom, do not hesitate to sign up. You will be in awe of how much they'll learn!

Ms. Tracy is such a wonderful teacher!
Our eldest started with her Pre-k program and stayed three years until he completed first grade. We love her curriculum so much, we also had our second complete prek, and our third will be doing the same.
As far as Pre-k, I don’t think you could find a better kindergarten prep program on the island, the blend of academics and play is spot on.
For kindergarten and first grade, we were shocked. I believe Ms. Tracy’s standards are a smidge higher than what you find in public school. (In our experience) But because the teacher to student ratio is so low- it works! Tracy is able to accommodate each child’s specific needs. The communication between teacher and family is something that isn’t normally found. We always felt like we knew exactly what was going on everyday. We never had to wait long stretches to see or hear about progress being made.

Sending my daughter, Sydney to Mrs. Tracy’s class for Kindergarten Enrichment was the best decision I have ever made for my daughter’s education. She was, and still is the best teacher she has ever had. Her love for reading started with Mrs. Tracy, and she continues to love reading any book she can get her hands on. I believe she is reading above grade level because of the fundamentals that started in Kindergarten. Mrs. Tracy ensured that all her students succeeded by giving them the individualized attention they needed. She gave each of them every ounce of energy she had, and her passion for learning. She is extremely organized and creative in all her lessons. Many Sunday nights, I would see her car in the school parking lot preparing for the week ahead. I think she had just as much fun planning her lessons, as the students did while completing the fun activities. She was always all in! She is the one teacher in Sydney’s education that I would love to have every single year. Little Cloud Academy will be an amazing little school.

If you happen upon Mrs. Tracy as your child’s teacher you’ve won the lottery! Mrs. Tracy taught our son, Rhett, in a kindergarten-enrichment program in Virginia Beach, VA. Her creativity blew us away... from her patriotic Kindergarten Presidential Election (including a private cardboard voting booth, election campaign posters and SPEECHES), to the zoo tour where kids wrote and talked about zoo animals in costume (parents got to go to the “zoo”), to dinosaur week, to the most magical polar express week, to DR SUESS WEEK (WOW!!!) And finally to the most beautiful art creations! She is an outstanding educator! Lastly, I’ll never forget the words she said to Rhett on his last day as a Kindergartener...she got down on his level and filled him up with confidence and kindness!

I can’t say enough good things about Miss Tracy! We were so sad to see her leave Virginia Beach. I kept my son in kindergarten enrichment just so he could have Miss Tracy as his teacher. He learned so much more than he would have otherwise and it was reflected in his grades and advanced reading level. Academics aside, I’ve never had a teacher who cared so much for her students! I’ll never forget how she spent time with each one on their last day of school, giving them personal words of wisdom, encouragement and big hugs. It makes me tear up thinking about it! I know Miss Tracy will go above and beyond at her new school. (Congratulations!!!)

I chose to have my son attend her kindergarten class instead of public school kindergarten because I knew she would prepare him well. Starting Day 1, Ms. Tracy has gone above and beyond what my son was doing in his Kindergarten at the local public school. Lily was always bringing home special projects they completed at school, going on field trips, and generally just amazing me with how much Ms. Tracy can teach them in a few hours a day.
